Teeth Whitening

MR. YAVUZ CLINIC

Healthy and white teeth are very important for a nice and effective smile. However, in some cases, structural disorders, antibiotics used as children or in the womb, the amount of fluorine in the eaten, drunk and drinking waters, old prostheses, coatings, fillings and old age cause coloration in the teeth. Teeth whitening process is the process of opening a few shades and removing the coloring of the enamel layer, which has changed color and turned yellow for various reasons. Everything we eat and drink with colorants in it darkens our tooth surface over time. In this way, instead of applying porcelain coating to teeth that darken or yellow, permanent teeth whitening method, also known as bleaching, can be applied. As a result of this procedure, 8-10 tons are opened depending on the condition of your teeth. Teeth whitening process is the application of specially prepared gel by rubbing on the teeth and accelerating with the help of a light source or laser. There are usually two types of coloring in the teeth. The first is inner coloration, the second is external coloring. In the inner coloration there are spots that penetrate into the tooth and are not removed by brushing. In external coloration, they are colorations that stick to the tooth surface from dyeing foods such as cigarettes, cola and coffee. In both colorations, the teeth whitening process, i.e. bleaching, is very successful.

The teeth whitening process is a procedure that should be performed under the control of a physician. Whitening gels applied to the outer surface of the tooth with coloration react with a special light applied. In this way, the teeth whiten quite quickly and effectively. In this way, an average of 3-4 tons of tooth color is opened in a single session.

The teeth whitening process is an extremely safe process that can be applied to everyone. If this procedure is performed in reliable clinics and under the supervision of a physician, it will not harm. Whitening, which is not recommended for people with continued growth and development, should also be done carefully for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers

A slight state of sensitivity may occur during or after the teeth whitening process. But this sensitivity will disappear between 1 and 3 days. The important thing here is to carry out the steps required by the teeth whitening process in a complete manner. When done by professional teams, this will do no harm.

The results of the teeth whitening process vary by person. Some teeth whiten in a few days, while some teeth take a month or two to whiten. But the teeth of the average person whiten between 2 and 3 weeks. If the yellowing of your teeth is more than graying, the whitening process will be much better. However, graying due to the use of antibiotics will be more difficult to whiten. In that case, it will take a little longer to reach a conclusion.

The use of coloring agents should not continue in this process as the teeth continue to whiten within 2 weeks after the teeth whitening process is finished. Afterwards, you can consider reducing these foods and beverages as much as possible. The hot-cold sensitivity experienced during the treatment will also end after the treatment.
